Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Module Production Test Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director, Assembly, Integration & Test, the Module Production Test Manager will support the management of the Module Test Production as part of the Assembly Integration and Test Organization at Terran Orbital. This front-line leader role is responsible for the daily management and leadership of Module Production Supervisors and the management of the Environmental test laboratory. This organization will provide support from module acceptance testing through spacecraft build and test including environmental testing. This position may require a shifted workweek schedule to support program objectives due to current production testing spans 7 days a week and 2 shifts per day.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage employees performing technical activities in Module Production and Spacecraft Assembly and Test
• Effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executive Management
• Support the execution and implementation of technical and functional excellence projects and processes applicable to the organization. Ensuring technical excellence by developing teammates, providing mentorship, and instilling a culture of accountability
• Develop and execute plans to support programs, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals. Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees. Developing project or operational plans aligned with the department’s objectives. Implementing plans to ensure business, technical, and customer requirements are achieved. Assigning authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the plan. Reviewing execution plans, making appropriate adjustments, and resolving issues. Developing and monitoring appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan
• Develop a culture wherein Safety and Quality concerns are identified, assessed, and managed as one element in daily business conduct. Qualifications and Skills
• 8 years of experience with spacecraft and system-level aerospace test and verification
• Experience leading and/or managing a team

Additional Differentiators
• Experience with satellite systems test
• Experience with satellite test equipment

Salary Range $115,000-$140,000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.

Work Environment

The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
